C’était l’installation de Windows 7 béta sur un Mac.

It was a Windows 7 install on a Mac (with beta 1).

Install on a MacBook Pro with a previous Boot Camp Vista partition.

My MacBook Pro  is shared in two partitions : one partition for Mac OS X and one partition for Windows Vista Ultimate (56 Giga bytes only), created with Boot Camp.

By pressing on the alt key, I choose to launch the Windows seven install from the DVD.
En appuyant sur la touche alt, je choisis de lancer l’installation de Windows 7 depuis le DVD.

With the first public beta of Windows 7 the language is English, but I can choose the time and currency and the keyboard to French.
Avec la première version publique de Windows 7, il n’y a qu’une langue, l’anglais, mais je peux choisir le format de l’heure et des devises et le clavier pour le français.

Setup is starting, You must accept the terms of the licence. J’accepte les conditions de licence.

I choose a custom install on the disk partition 3 (56.6 GB).
Je choisis une installation personnalisée sur la partition 3 (56,6 Go).

For my partition 3,  I choose the drive options, to format the partition.
Pour la partition 3, je choisis les drive options pour formater la partition.

En fait j’ai choisi d’effacer la version de Windows Vista qui était installée.

My partition is now formatted, the install is beginning.
Ma partition est maintenant formatée, l’installation commence.

I am typing a user name and the product key.

Use the recommended setting.
Utilisez les réglages recommandés.

Review your time setting.
Modifiez, si nécessaire les réglages proposés (time, zone, date, heure).

Choose your network. Here I choose a work network.

Choisissez un type de réseau. Ici j’ai choisi un réseau d’entreprise (pour ma petite entreprise).
